General conditions


The general terms and conditions of the online store are compiled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-UPB2).

The online store (hereinafter referred to as the “online store”) is operated by JH_boards, Jakob Hočevar s.p., (hereinafter referred to as the “provider”).

Please read the general terms and conditions of the online store carefully, as the terms are binding from the moment you enter our online store. It is considered that with each transaction made through our online store, you are acquainted with the entire content of the general terms and conditions and have agreed to the offered general terms and conditions without restrictions.

The provider reserves the right to make any changes to the general terms and conditions without special notice. The changes are valid from the moment of publication and are binding on the user.

The online store is open every day, 24 hours a day. Due to various technical reasons, business through our online store or even access to the store sometimes is not possible. Therefore, the provider reserves the right to limit or completely stop the sale of some or even all products for a definite or indefinite period of time, or to limit or completely stop access to the online store pages for a definite or indefinite period.




You can place orders online, from 0.00 to 24.00 every day.  Orders received on Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday will be shipped the first following business day.



Purchase procedure:


Buying in our online store is easy and convenient. Buying and finding are easy.

Payments by credit card, via PayPal and payments on the basis of a pro forma invoice are enabled.

JH_boards will treat accepted orders as irrevocable. With each order you will receive an e-mail confirmation of the order or notification that the order is being processed. In case of a mistake during the purchase, the buyer can easily correct the order, replace the item or cancel the purchase.


Purchase procedure steps:

  • Step 1 – Add products to your shopping cart
  • Add the product you want to buy to the cart by clicking on the appropriate button (“Add to cart”). You can add any number of products to the cart. Once you’ve finished adding, you can continue shopping or complete your purchase later. In the first case, the products in the cart will be saved for later purchase.
  • Step 2 – Choose payment method and delivery (registration, entering address for payment and delivery)
  • If you are a registered user, enter your user name and password in the fields provided. Unregistered users click the “Quick Purchase” button and fill out the form with contact information and delivery information. Confirm your data entry by clicking the “Next” button. The address for delivery of the ordered goods is displayed automatically and is the same as the address you entered in the contact information form. If you want to receive the ordered products to another address (e.g. to work) or send them to someone as a gift, click on “Change” in the delivery field and then enter the required information. In this case, the invoice will be sent to one who orders the purchase and the products will be sent to the addressee.
  • Step 4 – payment (verification of the order, choice of payment method and confirmation or completion of the purchase)
  • Before you click the “Submit order” button to complete your purchase, double-check that the amount of products you ordered is correct. Also check the delivery address. Please select the appropriate payment method in this step and click “Place Order.” The page redirects you according to the selected payment method, where you enter your payment information.

You will receive a confirmation of the successful order to your e-mail address.


Methods of payment:


The provider allows the following methods of payment:

  • Credit card payment (Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard)
  • Payment via PayPal account (When completing a purchase via PayPal, a transaction cost-plus of 1% of the purchase value is incurred).
  • Payment on the basis of a pro forma invoice (An invoice is sent to the customer via e-mail, on the basis of which the customer settles his purchase. As soon as we receive the transfer to our transaction account, we will deliver the ordered goods to you.)

When you make a credit card payment, your order will be processed immediately. Once your card details have been verified and approved by the payment system, items will be ready and your package will be mailed.

The order of the custom skateboard is carried out according to the following procedure:

  • Advance EUR 40: When filling out the form, the program will take you to a sketch, where you ensure the production of the desired custom skate board with an advance payment of 40 euros.
  • Payment up to the full purchase price: Once we have firmed up all the details about your board (graphics, chassis, wheels…) and before the board goes into production, it is necessary to settle the difference to the full amount. Here, of course, we take into account the advance paid.

Annotation: By clicking on the button “Place an order” or at the time of confirmation of data entry, your card is not yet debited for the stated amount. You will be redirected to the payment form, where you enter your credit card details, and at the end of this step, your card will be charged.

All prices in the online store are in euros and include VAT (value added tax).

All orders are subject to current prices. When purchasing, we will take into account the price valid when confirming the payment.



Delivery of goods:

We will send the goods ordered in the online store within 5 working days. This does not apply to Custom orders, as production takes up to 7 weeks.  Delivery period for Slovenia is about 7 working days and for other countries about 30 working days.



Withdrawal from purchase and return of goods:

In accordance with the Article 43 Consumer Protection Act, the buyer may within 14 days of receiving the goods notify the provider in writing of the withdrawal from the purchase agreement or order to the e-mail address

The buyer has the right to notify the company within 14 days of receiving the goods that he is withdrawing from the agreement without having to state the reason for his decision. The notice of withdrawal from the order agreement is considered timely if it is sent in writing within 14 days of receipt of the goods. The only cost borne by the consumer in connection with the withdrawal is the direct cost of returning the goods. The latter must be returned to the company no later than 14 days after receipt of the goods.

In the event of withdrawal from the agreement, the company shall immediately or no later than 14 days after receipt of the notice of withdrawal from the agreement return all payments received.

The company shall return the payments received by the same means of payment as used by the consumer, unless the consumer has explicitly requested the use of another means of payment and the consumer does not incur any costs as a result.

When returning items, it is mandatory to enclose a copy of the original invoice.

WARNING: Custom made products/custom skateboards and limited edition skateboards CANNOT be complained and the product CANNOT be returned!

Warranty, complaints and return/exchange of products:


All products are inspected and shipped undamaged before delivery. We will carefully pack your products in a delivery box so that they can reach your destination undamaged and in their original packaging.

The buyer can complain about the goods if the goods do not have the characteristics explicitly promised by the seller, if the seller sent the wrong products, in the wrong quantity, colour or otherwise deviate from the buyer’s order (does not apply to custom products/custom skateboards)

In the event of a complaint, the buyer may, in accordance with legal restrictions, request a replacement of the item or a refund of the purchase price (refund). The company returns the funds to the buyer when the purchased product is returned in perfect condition (the product must not be used). The product must be originally packaged and an invoice shall be submitted. If the product does not meet these conditions, the company will not refund the funds.

The buyer can return the goods that are the subject of a complaint to return it by post to the seller’s address at his own expense and by prior arrangement with the seller.

The customer has the right to, in accordance with the Article 37 of the Consumer Protection Act, in the event of a product defect, to request the company to replace the defective product with a new faultless product or return the amount paid or rectify the defect on the product or return part of the amount paid in proportion to the defect (does not apply to custom products/custom skateboards).

The deadline for product replacement is 14 days after receipt of the product. Replacement of the product is possible only upon submission of an invoice or copy of the invoice.


Material defects:


The consumer may exercise his rights arising from a material defect if he notifies the seller of the defect within two months of the day when the defect was detected. The consumer must describe the defect in more detail in the defect notice and allow the seller to inspect the item. The consumer may notify the seller of the defect in person, of which the seller must issue a certificate, or send a notice to the store where the item was purchased, or to the seller’s representative with whom he concluded an agreement.

The seller is not liable for material defects in the goods which show up after two years have passed since the item was handed over. A defect in things shall be deemed to have existed at the time of delivery if occurs within six months of delivery. The consumer’s rights referred to in the first paragraph shall expire two years from the day on which he informed the seller of the material defect.


Dispute settlement:


The court in Ljubljana is competent for resolving any disputes that arise.


Peaceful dispute settlement:


In accordance with the general terms and conditions of use of electronic communications services, JH_boards does not recognize any provider of out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes as competent for resolving consumer disputes that could be initiated by a private user in accordance with the law on out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes.

The regulation derives from the law on out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes and Regulation (EU) no. 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the online settlement of consumer disputes.



Shopping and paying through the online store is secure.

All transactions performed in the online store are protected by the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol and the secure data encryption protocol using 1024-bit encryption.

For the sake of your security and ensuring a good feeling, all payments made with a payment card are processed in real time with immediate verification of data with banks. Payment can be made by credit card (Visa, Visa Electron, and MasterCard) or via PayPal account.

All data you provide to us is encrypted using SSL data encryption technology. This advanced data encryption process makes it impossible for personal data to be intercepted while traveling from yours to our computer or from our computer to the bank. Personal data is transferred in encrypted form from your computer to the bank’s authorization server and is not stored on the provider’s server. To check if your browser is in safe mode when making a payment, look for the lock icon in the bottom corner or at the end of the address bar in your browser.

The provider undertakes to protect your privacy. All personal data of the user of the online store are confidential and will in no case be disclosed to unauthorized persons.

You can visit most pages in our online store without having to disclose your personal information, such as your name, address, and email address. Nevertheless, some information is obtained automatically by using cookies and web signals (“pixel tags”), standard tools in the web industry. The use of cookies and web beacons allows us to identify your IP address, the type of browser you use, and your overall online activity.

We need your personal information to purchase in our online store. We do not disclose the information you provide to us to third parties, except for the purpose of confirming the validity of a payment card purchase, product delivery, marketing and promotion. At (JH_boards, Jakob Hočevar s.p.) we follow the principles of transparency and careful handling of personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR; hereinafter referred to as the Regulation and Personal Data Protection Act.

All information on the management of individual consents can be found below.

By filling out the application form for receiving e-news about current trends and news, offers and prize games, organized by JH_boards, Jakob Hočevar s.p. or another legal entity that organizes the prize game in cooperation with, the user agrees to the transmission of data that is legally considered as personal data. In this case, these personal data is: email and IP address of the device from which you are logging in. Upon login, the user has the opportunity to agree to the use of personal data for the following purposes:

An individual may at any time request from the personal data controller to permanently or temporarily cease the use of his or her personal data for the aforementioned purposes. He/she can address such a request at any time to the e-mail address and specify in detail which consents he/she wishes to revoke.


In addition, he/she has the following rights:

  • The right to be informed of one’s own personal data: the individual has the right to his or her personal data collected in connection with him/her to become acquainted with the processing and to verify their legality;
  • The right to correction or personal data updates: the individual has the right that corrects his/hers inaccurate personal data without undue delay;
  • Right to delete personal data: the individual has the right that delete personal data relating to him or her without undue delay, to the extent permitted by applicable law;
  • Right to restrict of processing: an individual has the right that restrict the processing of personal data when he/she disputes the accuracy of personal data, when the processing is illegal and requires the restriction of personal data instead of deleting personal data, and in cases where no longer needs his/hers data for the purposes of processing, but needs it to enforce, conduct or defend his/hers legal claims;
  • Right to data portability: the individual has the right to receive his/hers personal data provided by in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable form, and the right for to provide this information to another controller where technically feasible.
  • The right of the individual to object: the individual has the right at any time to object to the processing of his/hers personal data, except when it is carried out for legitimate interests that lead to or a third party. He/she also has the right to object at any time to the processing of his/hers personal data when they are processed for the purposes of direct marketing, including profiling, insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. When an individual objects to the processing for the purposes of direct marketing, his/hers personal data are no longer processed.
  • The right to lodge a complaint against the controller of personal data with the supervisory authority if he/she considers that the processing of his/hers personal data violates the General Regulation on Personal Data Protection.



By signing the consent, the user is informed that all the above requirements concerning the exercise of rights in relation to personal data can be addressed in writing to the controller to the e-mail address

He/she is also aware that for the purposes of reliable identification in case of exercising personal data rights, the controller may request additional data from the user of services, and may refuse to take action only if he/she proves that he/she cannot reliably identify.

He/she is also informed that the controller must respond to a request by which he/she exercises his rights in relation to the above personal data without undue delay and at the latest within one month of receiving the request.



The provider makes every effort to ensure the up-to-date and accuracy of the information published on its websites. Nevertheless, product features, delivery time or price may change so quickly that the provider fails to correct the information on the websites. In such a case, the provider will notify the customer of the changes and allow him to withdraw from the purchase agreement or to replace the ordered item.

Although the provider strives to provide accurate photographs of the items sold, all photographs should be taken as symbolic.

The provider reserves the right to change the terms of business at any time and in any way, for any reason and without prior notice.
